Blur: it is a name of a band, but that has nothing to do with this gallery. This gallery is about a certain tranquilty. You see, I wore glasses and contact lenses for 35 years before having corrective surgery. At the end of the day, I would always take my lenses out or my glasses off and put them on the bedside table. That signalled the end of having to focus on everything and there was some comfort there. There was a finality and a softness to the world. Nothing I saw from that point on was anything that I knew.
